Manchester Airport is situated in South Manchester and it has 3
terminals. You can travel to the city centre by train, bus or
taxi.
There are six trains per hour running from Manchester Airport to
the city centre between Monday and Saturday, and four times per
hour on Sundays, costing around £4.
You can take bus number 43 running frequently between Manchester
Airport and Manchester city centre. Travelling by bus takes
around 50 minutes and costs around £2.50 one way.
However, if you want to take another bus on the same day, it
would be worth buying a day ticket for £3.50 per person. Taxis
take around 25 minutes and cost between £15 and £20.
