COURSES
We provide EFL (English as a Foreign Language) tuition at every level
dependent on the number and level of students. At all levels our
students will be able to improve their language in all four skills:
Listening, speaking, reading and writing. The levels offered are:
Beginner Level: This level is suitable for the students with a very basic or no knowledge of English language.
Elementary Level (CEFR* Level A1): Students
with a basic knowledge of English vocabulary and grammar will benefit
from this level. Such students are already able to communicate in
simple situations and are willing to engage themselves in class
activities.
Pre-Intermediate Level (CEFR Level A2):At
this level, the students are able to further interact, have longer
conversations, write paragraphs and also short letters, and utilise what
they have learned in real world situations.
Intermediate Level (CEFR Level B1):A more
challenging and demanding level for students who have already mastered
simple to moderate situations. The students at this level will be
exposed to a vast variety of vocabulary, grammatical points, reading and
writing materials and will be expected to engage in situational
conversations and discussions, write longer paragraphs as well as
letters, and finally observe accuracy.
Upper-Intermediate Level (CEFR Level B2):Students
will further improve their wide scope of vocabulary, grammar, listening,
speaking, reading, writing and use of English. Such students will
gain the knowledge to hold conversations in almost any situation, read
newspaper articles and write different types of letters as well as short
stories.
Advanced Level (CEFR Level C1): This level
offers perfection to those who enjoy a very high standard of English
language and is, in fact, the highest level currently offered.
Students will be able to engage in any situation and conversation, write
articles, narrative and descriptive pieces.
Cambridge Exam courses (ILETS, FCE, CAE and CPE):
These courses are especially designed to prepare those whose aim is to
study at university or those who wish to achieve an international
recognised qualification. Students must have attained English knowledge at
intermediate level to be able to start such courses. In addition to
listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, the students will
further improve their knowledge on vocabulary and grammar and will learn
exam techniques. These courses are offered if sufficient number of
students enrol on the course
We have a communicative approach to teaching English which means
students communicate in written and spoken situations as they do in the
real world.
Students undergo a written examination on the first day at school and
also receive a short interview to determine their linguistic ability and
place them in the most suitable class.
