TUITION

Everyone at the Spring School works hard to provide, to the best of their ability, the highest standard of  tuition. Teachers are friendly, sympathetic to student needs and qualified.

English Courses

Generally, a course book will be followed, and this may be supplemented, where necessary, by use of other materials such as grammar and vocabulary exercises, audio, visual, quizzes, fact-finding tasks and role-plays.  Students are encouraged to fully participate in all classroom activities.

A number of supplementary and extra materials and books are available to borrow, take home, study and return to school.  This will help our students further improve their English in their free time at home. We attempt to keep class numbers at no more than 10 to 12 students.  At busier time of the year, however, this can increase to 14 students.

Students will need to buy their course books for each level currently costing around £20. Please note that students progressing across more than one level might be required to buy further course books. There are regular tutorials and progress tests in order to monitor students' progress and development. 

Our courses run all year round and normally take 12 weeks to complete. Higher-level classes may take longer to complete especially when they are taught along with IELTS course. Students can join our school on any Monday during the year except on holidays and during school holiday specified on our “Timetable and Dates” page.

Tourism and Hospitality Courses

Maximum class size is 20 students and the minimum age for such courses is 18.
