English Courses

Students
undergo progress tests during and a final examination at
completion of each level of our general English courses. The school is in contact with test centres in and around
Manchester and will enrol such students on the following
Cambridge examinations based on their English language
level:
KET ( Key English Test ): suitable for those completing
elementary level. It recognises the ability to deal
with everyday written and spoken English at a basic level.
PET ( Preliminary English Test ): suitable for students
completing intermediate level.
FCE ( First Certificate in English ): suitable for students
who can use everyday written and spoken English at an
upper-intermediate level.
CAE ( Certificate in Advanced English ): suitable for those
completing advanced level who can use written and spoken
English for professional and social purposes.
CPE ( Certificate of Proficiency in English ): suitable for
students who enjoy advanced level and wish to use English
for professional or study purposes.
Cambridge examinations are held in June and December every
year and successful students will receive their certificates
from University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations.
Please contact the school for current fees for the above
examinations.
Please note that the school will not charge for enrolment of
its students on the above examinations.

Examination fees for diploma and advanced diploma levels are £25.00 and £30.00 per module respectively. for examination dates
