SOCIAL PROGRAMME

All of the students are encouraged to take part in a year-round programme of social events organised by the school.
These take place during weekday afternoons every two weeks.
Local activities include trips to:
·        Manchester Museum (Free Admission, within walking distance)
·        Manchester Museum of Science + Industry (Free Admission, within walking distance)
·        The Lowry Centre (Free Admission, public transport required)
·        Manchester Cathedral + Chetham’s Medieval Library (Free Admission, within walking distance)
·        Manchester United Football Stadium (Entry fee and public transport required)
Most activities are within walking distance of the school. However, students will need to pay for public transport where it is required.  Please contact us for the current cost of public transport.
Excursions
During the summer period the school also arranges monthly full and half day excursions to locations around Manchester. 
These include trips to:
Chester
Liverpool
The Peak District National Park.
A fee to cover tour guide and travel costs will be charged for each destination.  Please contact us for the current travel costs.
